If you are seeing entries in Wireshark in this address range then IGMP has not been configured correctly on the network switch. ![]() Infinity and XDIP default multicast addresses are in the 237.x.x.x range. The destination address the multicast group that a transmitter on the network is broadcasting to. The key elements are the destination address which is between 224.0. The screenshot below is showing that multicast traffic is being received.If you do not see any multicast packets, then it would suggest that IGMP has been configured correctly.For example, in the same switches and routers you are piping the information from.
